Mac error: YOUR NETWORK SETTINGS HAVE BEEN CHANGED BY ANOTHER APPLICATION

When opening the network control panel in Mac, I get this warning pop up message. 

Solution: 

1.  Click - SYSTEM PREFERENCES
2.  Choose - SECURITY
3.  Check the box - "Require a password to unlock each system preferences pane."

This will prevent that message and changes in the settings.
